A Look Into BruceGlen’s New Collection: Light In The Dark

Light In The Dark – a statement that reigns deeper beyond what the eye can comprehend, and that’s the sentiment that was left by BruceGlen with their new collection that our team had the privilege to review at the NYFW Showrooms, in partnership Black in Fashion Council & Rakuten.

The collection encompasses notes of bright, vibrant, fun, and mood boosting colors and prints that are expected of the twins and their design work, as well as velour and sequins dresses, animal print galore, with a vibe of 70s eclectic-ness and overall statement making pieces.

“Bold, Conversational, & Electric” – BruceGlen

What sets this collection and their designer aesthetic apart from what’s currently on the market is this: everyone (man, woman, and in between) can feel bold, confident, and beautiful in their work. With pieces that are purposely genderless, size ranges up to 4X, and made with a sustainability initiative behind it – BruceGlen has been able to tackle different shifts in the market with one collection and one designer brand. When we talk about the future of fashion, BruceGlen must be involved in that conversation.

As we dove deeper into the collection, we were able to discuss with the twins and design duo their upcoming projects – including a children’s album, clothing line, which we’re sure will have the same vibrant flare as their current pieces and we are very excited to see.

The showroom ran from February 9th-13th at Highline 9, and included other Black & POC designers such as Next in Fashion’s Amari Carter, Nia Thomas, & V.Bellan.
