With it’s detailed craftsmanship that has an emphasis on crochet and weaving, fashion brand Diotima acts as an ode to Caribbean culture. The Jamaican born, Brooklyn based designer Rachel Scott launched the brand in 2020. Diotima has grown rapidly as Scott won the CFDA 2023 emerging designer of the year award. Every piece showcases nicety textiles from lace to macrama. Scott works closely with Jamaican artisans who crochet garments into wearable art.
